Optime and Delta Subsea has joined forces in the Western Hemisphere to provide a single XT controls service, using Optime’s IWOC System, SCILS, combined with Delta Subsea’s fleets, operations and experience. The SCILS is a significantly smaller, lighter and more cost efficient system for any XT installations, service, maintenance or interventions, including any SCM verification. Combining this with the existence of Delta Subsea’s wealth of experience and delivery of cost efficient solutions, will benefit end clients
Optime’s focus on reducing cost requires innovation in every aspect of the company. As part of the technology developments, we have focused on getting one of the most optimized and best performing subsea hydraulic pumps, to enable the modularity needed in our systems. “Optime is introducing an innovative technology long sought after in the subsea industry, but in addition to this, they are also changing the business model of how to compete in the future subsea oil and gas industry. I am looking forward in supporting the best way I can to insure Optime’s continued success in the future”, says the newly appointed Chairman of Optime Subsea, Jarle Tautra.
“We are extremely pleased to have someone as experienced and competent as Jarle accept the demanding role we have been seeking. Our objective has been to have an active board and in particular Chairman. One who takes part in not only the strategic long term growth, but participating more actively in the operations. I look forward to continue our growth in Optime by working closely with Tautra in the period to come”, says CEO of Optime Subsea AS Jan-Fredrik Carlsen.
