The four founders of Optime quit their safe jobs in the subsea industry. They establish a company and name it Optime Subsea. They begin to develop concepts and ideas that are intended to change the oil and gas industry. After launching the company they attract attention worldwide.

Optime Subsea now consists of 15 employees. They begin to develop their first system, SCILS.
We were chosen to develop and test a subsea control module (SCM) for ABB.
Optime wins a contract with AKOFS Offshore. This is Optime’s first major contract.
Aker BP and Optime sign a framework agreement, where the control system SCILS is the main product. SCILS is in operation for Aker PB today.
Subsea Control and Intervention Light System (SCILS), has now successfully completed a two well Plug & Abandonment campaign on the Jette field, saving rig time, personnel costs and equipment.
